Building Evidence on Violence Faced by Women and Girls

CEHAT worked with different grassroots organisations engaged in diverse contexts with young women and girls, to build their research capacities so rich data from the field could effectively inform their interventions and be utilised for advocacy. CEHAT worked with Association for Anandi, Advocacy and Legal Initiatives Trust (AALI), Equidiversity Foundation, Jagori, Jan Sahas, Nazariya Foundation, Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan (RJVS), Sahajini Shiksha Kendra (SSK), Stree Mukti Sanghatana (SMS) and Vishakha, and a sustainable Management Information System (MIS) was developed for each organisation to record their data. In turn, CEHAT strengthened its own MIS and analysis of domestic and sexual violence records.
