Consensus Building Workshop, Mumbai, 18th & 19th August 2025

CEHAT organised a two day consensus-building workshop on monitoring methods for domestic violence interventions on 18th-19th August, 2025 at Mumbai. Representatives of 23 organisations across the country contributed to the workshop. The purpose of the workshop was to reflect on progress indicators, methods, and tools for monitoring interventions aimed at addressing domestic violence.

Over the two days, participants attempted to define the range of their interventions with survivors, communities, health and legal justice systems. Participants also deliberated on their vision of change for the groups they engage with and the observable signs of progress within their interventions. The guided activities also helped participants map methods and tools that they find useful in documenting these signs of change in a tangible manner. The two-day workshop was a vibrant space full of contemplation, energy, and mutual learning.
