Engendering Medical Education: A case study on MGIMS, Sevagram

The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram has been pioneering the development and delivery of content related to social determinants of health including gender equity and inclusion in medical education within and outside the medical curriculum. There is immense potential in the scaling of these efforts across medical colleges all over India to create a future generation of gender-sensitive medical practitioners. The workshop series titled 'l-Believe' and 'We-Believe' were organised in collaboration with CEHAT, Mumbai.

This case study was produced by Oxford Policy Management and Quicksand as part of GenderCollab- a Community of Practice that brings together partners to work towards advancing gender intentionality within the health systems.
