Health and healthcare has strong sociocultural dimensions with gender being one of the strongest determinants. CEHAT provides gender reviews of policies and practices in the healthcare system that impact women’s access to healthcare, and examines the institutional and ideological biases at work in the conceptualisation and delivery of healthcare for LGBTQIA+ communities. We work towards a systemic transformation by designing and delivering gender transformatory training modules and practices.
