Health Legislation, Ethics and Patients' Rights

Advocating for patient rights forms the core of CEHAT’s research work, realised through our critical enquiry centred on recognising ethics and patient rights in healthcare settings, health legislation and research. Our focus is understanding the functioning of the private healthcare sector especially vis-a-vis regulation and public-private partnerships, the delivery of state-managed services from a patient’s perspective, and assisting in the standardisation of ethical guidelines in the conduct of research and practice in healthcare.
