Within hospital settings, different stakeholders at multiple levels interact with patients and survivors- doctors, nurses, support staff, administration, etc. CEHAT workshops are tailored to meet the needs of these stakeholders and provide them gender-sensitive and relevant information, support skills and bring about a change in attitudes, perceptions and biases.
Sexual violence has significant negative impact on physical and psychological health of survivors. Survivors often seek medical assistance at a health facility and comprehensive, gender-sensitive health care becomes essential to aid the survivor’s recovery.
