This study on issues related to health systems and financing by mapping health care facilities in Jalna district of Maharashtra was undertaken as part of an 8 State multi-centric study. The objective of the study was to collect information on all health facilities run by qualified health professionals in the district with respect to their infrastructure capacities, services offered, referral patterns, human resources and the fee charged for selected services.
