Over the last decade, CEHAT's Gender in Medical Education (GME) initiative has worked to bring conversations on gender, sexuality, violence, rights, ethics and social justice into medical education and healthcare practice.
As part of this journey, a series of Six Short Films were released by CEHAT on 1st July 2026 at Balgandharva Rangamandir, Mumbai on the occasion of World Doctor's Day, in collaboration with Agents of Ishq (AOI).
Rooted in everyday healthcare encounters, the films explore an important question: What does it mean to be a "Good Doctor"? Beyond clinical competence, how can healthcare providers listen better, recognise social realities, challenge biases, and provide more empathetic and equitable care?
